Mindful Habit is led by experienced teachers rooted in contemplative practice and daily life.

Joel Sacramento

Joel is a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher, a registered nurse, and a former board member of Insight Chicago. He co-founded the Madison East Side Mindfulness & Meditation group and brings a grounded, practical approach to teaching. Drawing from both healthcare and contemplative experience, Joel helps participants develop presence, balance, and resilience in everyday life.

Carol Robinson

Carol is a certified 500-hour yoga instructor dedicated to bringing mindfulness into diverse communities. She volunteers with the Wisconsin Prison Mindfulness Initiative, co-founded the Madison East Side Mindfulness & Meditation group, and previously led sessions for students through the Calm Classroom program—an evidence-based, secular curriculum that supports focus, self-regulation, and emotional resilience.
